The instructor for this program is Duxbury's own Chris Festa. Chris grew up in Holliston, MA and graduated from H.H.S. in 1990 where he played football, hockey, and baseball and was a state finalist in football and baseball his senior year. Chris attended college at Westfield State and graduated in 1994 with a degree in Business Management. While at Westfield State, Chris was a four year starter as a pitcher/center fielder and was an all conference player. Chris played professional baseball as a pitcher for three organizations and spent three years in the Boston Red Sox Organization from 1995 - 1997. Chris spent time in Spring Training in 1998 with the Cincinnati Reds, before he began a real estate career on the South Shore that same year.

Chris has been a Duxbury resident since 2008, along with his wife Theresa, his two sons, Shane and Matthew, and his daughter Ainsley. Chris works in town as a realtor at Vantage Point Realty Advisors and also is the owner of Fairway Appraisal Services. Chris has been a baseball instructor and a coach at various levels since 1990 and was an instructor at the Hit Dog Training Center, Ballplayers Inc., the Harvey Krupnick Batting School, the Nomar Garciaparra Summer Camp, the Mo Vaughn Winter Clinic among others. Chris currently coaches a 10-U AAU baseball team at Atlantic Baseball, and is a youth baseball coach and active baseball board member in Duxbury.
